Our client, a global financial technology vendor with a strong reputation in the enterprise banking and payments space, is seeking a dynamic sales professional to join their team in Malaysia and help drive the growth of their revenue in the region.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to drive sales and manage key enterprise accounts within an assigned territory. This role requires a strategic, results-oriented professional with a passion for delivering innovative solutions to large-scale banking clients. The Sales Director will focus on expanding market presence, nurturing client relationships, and achieving revenue goals through consultative selling and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy in line with the company’s overall goals, focusing on revenue growth and client acquisition.
- Identify new business opportunities, establish relationships with key enterprise accounts, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
- Account Management and Client Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within target organisations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for enterprise clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and ongoing support.
- Consultative Solution Selling
- Understand clients' business challenges and needs to effectively present our solutions as value-driven offerings.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations, positioning our solutions to address specific client challenges.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success, to align efforts and ensure client needs are met.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to help refine offerings and strategies for the region.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting
- Track and report on sales activities, forecast sales, and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Analyse regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies as needed.
- Regional Market Analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities within the region to identify risks and new business opportunities.
- Participate in regional networking events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company’s presence and influence.
You will possess the following:
- At least 10 years of successful direct enterprise sales experience in the FSI industry, preferably in selling payment solutions.
- Proven track record of success in selling payment services.
- Ability to prospect for and pursue large complex sales opportunities.
- Strong understanding of both business and technical solutions.
- Proven consistent track record of success in exceeding sales goals and expectations
