Senior Sales Director
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Key Account Director to join our dynamic Sales team. As a Key Account Director, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with the most significant clients and prospects across European markets with a focus on the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands and Nordics. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure the successful delivery of our services while identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets, expand revenue from key accounts, and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.
- Account Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services to existing key accounts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and renewals with key clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market demands to advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor account performance, track sales activities, and provide regular reports to senior management regarding account status, growth opportunities, and challenges.
- Client Retention: Develop and implement strategies for retaining key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and addressing any client concerns promptly.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams to align on client objectives and ensure all services are delivered as per expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior sales or relationship management position, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or Business Information related industries.
- Strong track record of managing and growing large, high-value client accounts.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A deep understanding of sales processes, from prospecting and pipeline management to closing deals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a client-first approach.
- A results-driven individual with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Experience using CRM software and sales analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Fully proficient in English and at least one other European language.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience
