Senior Sales Representative – SEA

Our client creates open data and software solutions for investment professionals globally, providing real time access to financial data and analytics that investors use to make crucial decisions.
They are currently looking for an ambitious, motivated and deal driven Senior Sales Representative to work in their Singapore office. The Singapore office is responsible for the entire business in SEA.
The sales representative will join the new business team and will be responsible for accelerating new business sales across SEA. The role offers a great opportunity to hunt new logos across all client types both buy-side and sell-side.
You will be involved in activities such as:
- Working with the new business team to execute on sales strategy to achieve sales targets
- Building strong relationships with key senior managers and decision makers
- Identifying growth opportunities, leading the sales pursuit, and closing deals
- Conducting sales demos, presentations, and contract negotiations
- Implementing and closing trials in decent time frame
- Participating in RFP/RFI responses
- Offer Project Management during implementation process and working closely with the consulting team
- Gaining knowledge of competition in the accounts
- Contributing in setting long term strategy to increase market share
You will possess:
- 6+ years’ experience at a financial solutions provider or similar
- Prior experience in selling complex solutions to the buy-side industry
- Understanding of buy-side and sell-side workflows
- Strong and proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Drive, enthusiasm and a desire to exceed targets
- Strong sense of initiative and creativity
- CFA would be an advantage
