Our client, a leading provider of high-demand public security products to the Government/Defense sector, is looking to hire a skilled Trade/Customs Compliance expert to join their team in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting the company’s trade activities within the region.
- This role is expected to facilitate customs clearance and brokering processes, manage product trade classifications and certificates, and coordinate logistics activities effectively.
- You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regional trade controls across various departments, including supply chain, sales, research & development, and manufacturing.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Export Administration Regulation (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), including licensing for hardware exports.

Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Global logistics.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role, as you will engage with government regulatory bodies and liaise with global compliance teams for support. Lastly, familiarity with product certification programs would be ideal.
