A global financial technology company specializing in AI based data intelligence solutions is hiring for an experienced Data Technical Lead to join their team in Kuala Lumpur.
Given your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will lead and coach data engineers to ensure they contribute effectively – this entails to make sure the deliverables are well designed, well implemented and tested through design & code reviews and are based on IT best practices.
The Technical Lead will also coordinate and communicate status, risks and issues across stakeholders in regards with deliverables throughout the project /software development lifecycle. Interested candidates must have hands-on experience in using Scala in developing and implementing applications.
Ideal Candidate:
- At Least 8-10 years of relevant experience in software development preferably within the banking & financial services industries
- At least 2 years of technical leadership and team management experience
- Expertise in developing and implementing data platform/applications
- Strong hands on experience in Scala related technologies
- Comfortable in Agile methodologies with proven track record in leading successful project deliveries to production environments
