Summary

  • We are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to capitalize on their network and hunt within a defined territory to find new clients within Southeast Asia and Australia.
  • The Impact: The individual will be part of a sales team responsible for strategic planning within their set territory and be required to lead end-to-end sales. They will be required to drive new business and open new avenues of growth.
  • Your Skills: Experience in a B2B corporate environment, solution selling; Second Asian Language preferred; Organized and display time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer-facing activity including prospecting new clients, and driving sales. Understand in depth the customers’ business, identify their needs, and provide a solution that will add value to their business.
  • Via phone, email, LinkedIn and Zoom, prospect new business daily. Be responsible for systematic outreach and sequence messaging, crafting targeted value proposition statements to different types of clients with a clear call to action. Maintain a high lead-to-sales close conversion rate.
  • Reporting and internal administration to include; CRM activity log, weekly reports to management etc.
  • Gather strong working knowledge of competitive intelligence.
  • Develop sufficient Alternatives.pe product, technical and alternative investment (VC, PE and M&A) market knowledge
  • Collaborate with colleagues and internal departments to achieve goals.

Requirements

  • Min. 2 years of sales experience in a similar discipline
  • Experience in a B2B corporate environment, and solution selling.
  • Second Asian Language preferred
  • Organized and display time management skills.
  • The candidate should have excellent communication both verbal and in writing.
  • Proven experience in conducting sales presentations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with end-users and decision-makers
  • Strategic mindset
  • Highly proficient in MS Office and using CRM systems.
  • Working knowledge of the data vending industry preferred
