Regional Sales Director

Hong Kong/Singapore Based
This Senior Sales role will focus on generating new business across company Indexes suite of products and will be reporting to the Global Head. Although incumbent will receive some incoming leads, you will be responsible for sales and business development for Greater China and South-East Asia Market. Your target clients will be mostly buy side (like asset manager/ hedge funds/ advisory firms) and some sell-side clients. We’re looking for someone with hands-on initiative, strong sales, leadership, and the ability to build long-term CxO level relationships.
You will be involved in activities such as:
Exceed the sales target, which is based on new business from new clients and growing an existing base of business
Identify new business groups and opportunities within the accounts, and work to replicate success across the team
Develop account/ territory strategies and work closely with other sales professionals, product, development, and marketing teams to execute on those strategies to provide world-class products to our clients
Uncover client business needs and work with internal teams to determine optimal solutions
You will possess:
Min 7 years of sales and relationship management experience, preferably in the financial services sector
Prior experience selling Indexes, fixed income, ETFs solutions is preferred
Talented communicator and face-to-face presenter, able to demonstrate expert-level knowledge of the products
Excellent English language skills required. Mandarin/ Cantonese (advantage)
