Senior Data Engineer
Singapore
SGD $90-120,000/year

 

 

We are working with a product focused software client of ours looking for a senior data engineer to join an existing software focused team here in Singapore. They have a data science team in the US who you will liase with but you will report into their VP of engineering here in Singapore.

 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to own the data engineering practices within the company being the senior data engineer within the team. This is an IC role but you will be responsible for setting Data engineering standards in combination with setting best practices in building data lake/warehousing, developing data pipelines and ETL.

 

From a technical skill set point of view we are looking for the following:

 

  • Expertise in python engineering within data focused products and platforms – we can accept software engineers who have transitioned into data engineering specifically
  • AWS & Redshift experience – Their platform is built on AWS and a number of projects include work within redshift so expertise using redshift is important
  • Experience working within SQL/data architecture on large data sets
