Summary:
- The Software Engineering Lead in this position is responsible for establishing and building processes, and practices, and strengthening the skills of our team members. This will have a regular collaboration with department heads to ensure that the Company goals, projects and objectives are achieved.
Our client is a leading ride-hailing and delivery services provider in the country. Their operation is 24/7 and they cater to the needs of commuters in Metro Manila, parts of Central Luzon & South Luzon and in Cebu.
As Software Engineering Lead s/he will guide and lead the team to understand and deliver on business and its objectives. Will recruit, train, and hone engineering talents.
You will be involved in activities such as:
- Will recommend new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency.
- Support a culture of collaboration, accountability, and engineering and operational excellence
- Identifying issues before they occur and leading the team through resolution
Competitive package and benefits
You will possess:
- Must have a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Has 5-7 years of experience in helping to manage, develop and scale engineering teams
- Having certifications on Agile, PMP, Scrum, etc will be a good advantage
- Having a previous startup and/or TMaas (Transportation Mobility as a service) experience is preferred
